Love in action is a key theme over the next couple of weeks. It resonates so well with the beginning of spring and the time of new growth after the restraints of winter. This is partly due to several planets being in Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, and partly because all of the planets are ‘direct’ in other words travelling forward in the sky.

On the surface, it may seem like a time of unimpeded new growth and expansion. The imagination could run riot with new ways to transcend both physical and metaphysical boundaries. There is the potential for new ideals and visions. There is also the potential for new forms of illusion. When used positively, this could stimulate the world of art and films. However, it might give rise to delusion or deception.

These possibilities relate to Neptune being at the beginning of Aries. Saturn is close to Neptune and this could promote careful use of the imagination so it can be directed into practical, constructive actions. The presence of Saturn could also help us focus attention on anything that appears to be too good to be true so we can examine it carefully and assess if it is an avenue that is really worth pursuing.

Mercury and Mars are both in Pisces. This can work out at many different levels. There could be much thought about the plight of other people with enhanced empathy and understanding. Discussions may focus on their situations and what might be done to help those people and their circumstances. In addition much energy could be directed towards ideals to ease what is happening.

The focus of energy in Pisces can be associated with increased use of the intuition. This can include being more aware of what is going on in the immediate environment as well as worldwide. Greater sensitivity could contribute to better understanding of the reasons why events happen and the deep soul lessons people are learning from them. In the long run, this may contribute to inner and outer peace.

The proximity of Mercury to the north node of the Moon, both in Pisces, suggests that all this is part of what humanity is currently striving for. However, it goes beyond wanting to help other people. It includes expanding awareness to all realms of life including the plant and animal kingdoms, the nature spirits and angels. This is part of the shift in consciousness to appreciate the interconnectedness and unity of all life.

At the end of March and the beginning of April, there could be an urge to expand in one way or another. Some ideas to do this could be unusual to say the least. The sense of individuality, wanting to express uniqueness and tangible outlets for originality may all become apparent. This links with interactions between the Sun in Aries, Uranus at the end of Taurus and Jupiter in Cancer.

During this time, the urge to push ahead with ones’ own projects might be at odds with an innate desire to care for others. Although the enthusiasm and drive to get things done is strong, it might be worthwhile considering the outcome of actions. Eagerness and zeal are not enough to ensure novel exploits are the right course to pursue. Underlying this is a strong drive for personal truth and integrity.

Venus moves into the practical and reliable sign of Taurus on 30th March. There could be such a love of going out into nature and enjoying its beauty, its smells and colours. There could also be a love of giving service or wanting to help others. Practical activities such as cooking or gardening could be more appealing than mental activities such as reading books or spending time on digital devices.

Until 4th April, there may be times when delays or limitations seem to stem the free flow of creativity. This can provide the opportunity to look again at any proposals and see if they need improving. Greater care may be given to ideas that go beyond anything considered before. While this might seem tedious, it could be viewed as a responsibility to self and the project if it is to succeed. This relates to Saturn being close to the Sun.

So much of what is happening at present is reflected in the energy of the full Moon in Libra, opposite the Sun in Aries, on 2nd April. We are learning how to be inspiring individuals within our relationships with other people and realms of life.

Keep well, stay happy.
