July could be a time of considerable social change. Anything is possible. This may range from a plethora of totally new ideas that could revolutionise life to visions of how to take humanity forward on its evolutionary path. This is linked with close interactions between several planets, which are worth looking at in more detail.
The three outermost planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are all in the same degree of fire or air signs emphasising aspirations for new interactions between people and greater consideration of the other realms of life including the plant and animal kingdoms. Staid and outworn habits and actions may be superseded in ways that could hardly have been imagined a few years ago.
With Uranus in Gemini, retrograde Neptune in Aries and retrograde Pluto in Aquarius it might seem as if there is a lot of thinking and talking about what to do, perhaps with little effective action. However, on 12th and 13th July, Venus is at the same degree as the outermost planets but in the earth sign of Virgo. There is the potential for level-headed, hands-on and pragmatic outlets for the abundant energy.
The new Moon on 14th July is in Cancer and close to retrograde Mercury. It is a time for thinking about feelings and reactions to all that is going on both personally and globally. Ideas about how to deal with emotions may surface and be put into operation after Mercury goes direct later in the month.
The strength of the interaction between the outermost planets is accentuated during the third week of July by a link to Jupiter in Leo. At this time, not only could the abundance of new ideas be particularly noticeable but the means to communicate them could also be enhanced. New and inspired platforms for digital interactions may suddenly become available. This relates to the harmonious interaction between Jupiter and Uranus.
Jupiter also forms a harmonious link with retrograde Neptune in Aries. It is as if old perceptions of reality are being broken down so new ones that exceed anything previously thought possible can emerge. They might include new forms of art and self-expression. This may go beyond expression of the personality to include expression of the true self: spirit. The reality of spirituality continues to unfold.
Jupiter is opposite retrograde Pluto. Some changes seem enormous but as the inner radiance surfaces, so too can the resolve to accomplish all that is necessary. Inner change leads to outer change. Changes within individuals contribute to transformation within society.
The Sun enters Leo on 22nd July. This is associated with summer in the northern hemisphere, often a time of holidays and having fun. During the following week, the Sun forms a tense interaction with Chiron at the beginning of Taurus. Focussing on the love in the heart may boost the sense of confidence.
During the whole period covered by this update, Saturn in the fire sign of Aries forms a harmonious interaction with Mars in the air sign of Gemini. This may help contain the diversity of ideas and sort the useful ones from those that are not worth spending time on. It could be very satisfying to pursue something new diligently and conscientiously.
In addition, and also for the whole period covered by this update, Saturn forms a tense interaction with Mercury in Cancer. This may moderate the extent of thinking about feelings, keeping them in perspective so that emotional energy may be directed into constructive avenues. There could also be more thought given to implementing new projects in a sensible and responsible manner.
Mercury is the only planet in a water sign. It goes direct on 23rd July but remains in Cancer until the second week in August. This helps to balance the spread of planets across the elements. The intuition can be listened to and the feelings considered even while the mind seems to have so much to think about.
The nodes of the Moon have an overall retrograde motion. As the south and north nodes are now in the first degrees of Virgo and Pisces, respectively, they are approaching the end of an eighteen-month transit. Over the past year and a half, much has been learned about integrating the intuition, spirituality, kindness and service.
In many ways, this is a ground-breaking time in the development of humanity and each individual has their unique role to play.
Keep well, stay happy.
