Astrological Update on 23rd February 2026
There is an emphasis on finding peace at the beginning of the two-week period covered by this update. Experience gained in practical matters in the past may contribute to the wisdom needed in striving for peace in the world now. This may be in the family unit but may extend to the wider family of humanity. It relates to the strength of planets in water signs, which all share the soul lesson of peace.
Thoughts may shift from an outward focus to inward consciousness on 25th February when Mercury in Pisces stations. Two days
later, Mercury enters its three-week retrograde phase allowing ideas to surface from the subconscious. This can be an introspective time and a wonderful opportunity to consider the vast changes that are going on in the physical world and within the evolution of human kind.
Recently there has been a major shift in some of the outer planets and a solar eclipse. These events underscore the change from being materially and emotionally orientated to being inspired with the deep love of spirit within and bringing that love into the whole of life. This may sound fanciful but with the right aspirations and intent, it could bring an enormous change to life on Earth.
Feelings could be more prominent on 26th and 27th February. However, they may be balanced by the more logical and rational detachment of Mars and Pluto being in Aquarius. Intuition might be used when considering the welfare of large groups of people.
Until 2nd March there is an enormous amount of energy that could be applied in finding original or inventive solutions to practical situations. Deciding how to direct willpower can be all-important. While there can be a lot of determination and perseverance towards achieving established goals, it might be wise to avoid being stubborn or obstinate. This situation relates to the interaction of Mars and Uranus.
There is a lunar eclipse on 3rd March when the Moon in Virgo is opposite the Sun in Pisces. One interpretation of a lunar eclipse is that it brings subconscious themes to the surface. If anything has been blocking the way forward, particularly relating to the emotions, the eclipse allows inner reflection so a deeper understanding of the situation can emerge.
At this lunar eclipse, the Moon is close to the south node of the Moon, which can highlight the karmic origin of experiences. Experience and wisdom gained through serving others in the past may be brought to light and used in helping people through their difficulties. Compassion and wisdom are key words at this time.
Awareness of what others are experiencing and sensitivity to their feelings goes a long way. Wisdom includes knowing what to do and what not do. This is not just in outer life but also at a much deeper level. That wisdom may be linked with, or lead to, spiritual pursuits and interests.
Retrograde Jupiter in Cancer interacts with the lunar eclipse suggesting that caring and nurturing in their many forms are significant at this time. Even if it feels that growth and expansion are going more slowly than liked, the situation allows deeper examination of what is right. Integrity may be re-examined. A different approach to life, one that is perhaps more peaceful and wiser, could emerge.
Also on 3rd March, Mars moves from Aquarius into Pisces. This can bring a desire or urge to help the underdog, the victim. Energy can be directed towards those in trying and challenging circumstances. Empathy works wonders but when it is supported with action to do something about the situation, much can be achieved.
For a few days at the beginning of March, Venus interacting with both Mars and Uranus brings a gentler energy and a deep sensitivity to the feelings of others together with a love of harmony and inherent wisdom. There is a feeling that what is happening is for the highest good of all even if that is not obvious. Peace and harmony are gradually permeating all levels of life, including the material, mental and emotional levels.
The interaction between two of the outermost planets, Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius indicates social change. There may have been awareness of the need for modification in some facets of life for some time. While deep and profound transformation takes time, there may be some sudden or unexpected changes that help bring about a shift in consciousness and ultimately the way life is led.
Keep well, stay happy.
